With a beautiful couple, a sweet swing in a hammock, and some gorgeous lakefront shots, you’d just about say that this shoot couldn’t get any better. Then… it starts to rain. You just have to see the romantic images at the end of this post! Here’s a little bit of their story, as told by the bride-to-be, Teagan.
“In the fall of 2008, Josh and I met at college. We were in the same English class where I sat two rows ahead of him. Needless to say, that’s how he noticed me first.
Josh casually initiated contact and requested to be friends on Facebook. He almost lost all hope because I apparently took over a month to accept it! But luckily, things went smoothly from there. We had lengthy talks and began to realize how much we had in common. Somewhere between Josh teaching me to skate, going to his college volleyball games, making our annual snowman, and going to the lake, we fell in love with each other, for so many different reasons we cannot pinpoint. Our relationship was strengthened during two years of long distance, while I finished my degree up at the U of A.
In March of 2015, we went for a walk at a local park, to enjoy the warm spring day. The weather was so great I found it weird Josh was still wearing his winter jacket. (I later found out it was the only coat he could discretely hide the ring box in.) When finally got to a quiet spot on the trail, Josh got down on his knee and asked me the best question in the world!”
