Andrea and Josh were originally going to go with a bigger wedding out in BC, then they realized they wanted to have a more meaningful wedding close to home with a personal touch and, of course, with the ones that mean the most.
With the help of some family and friends, almost everything at the wedding was done on their own – they even made their own meal! The homemade meal was made like a camp-out styled meal with salads, pulled pork sandwiches, potatoes, and to end it off, dessert was all made by Andrea’s grandma!
Josh’s grandma made a beautiful handmade quilt to use as their guestbook. Music was all done in the family as well by Andrea’s sister’s boyfriend, Ryan. All the ladies even got their hair done in family by Josh’s sister’s salon – The Other Side. The formal pictures were also taken at a significant location – Josh’s grandparents’ house. They have the most beautiful barn that suited the wedding theme and colours perfectly.
Having everything done by their family truly made this wedding something special – something that will create wonderful memories for years to come.
