the love story…
August 3, 2015: I got married to the most wonderful man. He has a heart that is made from the purest form of gold and a soul that shines God’s love. He’s my best friend, my comfort, and my rock; I’m blessed to have him as my husband.
Jaden and I got engaged in the summer of July 2014 and began the busy process of planning our August wedding shortly after. The year flew by as I was completing my first year of my Masters and Jaden was finishing his final year of his Education Degree. Things were busy, but with afternoons of crafting, weekends of shopping, and a whole lot of coffee, we got things organized in time! August 3rd came quickly, but we were more than ready for it! I remember waking up on the morning of August 3rd and feeling more relaxed than ever. I stepped out of bed, opened the blinds, and was greeted by the most beautiful sunrise. I said a quick prayer to the good Lord and then ran down the stairs with excitement in my steps! I hugged my mom and dad, then cried a little, and then smiled when the coffee was poured. It was an emotional day, but big changes were happening and therefore, emotions were definitely allowed!
Getting ready with the girls was one of my favorite experiences; for one day, we all felt famous! My bridesmaids were stunning and my mom looked like she had walked out of a magazine; everyone was glowing, everyone was happy, and the moment was perfect 🙂 It wasn’t long before 11am hit and we were loading ourselves into the vehicles- it was time to head to the gardens and time to get married! EEEK! The drive felt forever; the gardens never seemed to be THIS far from my house in the days before! The nerves were kicking in and my heart was beating harder than ever. This was real. This was happening! And I was so ready for it! When we arrived at the gardens, I suddenly felt different; a change had overcome me and the nerves swept away. This was it, this was what my heart had wanted for so long and today it was happening; I had no reason to be nervous, but instead, I had every reason to walk down that aisle with excitement and confidence in each and every step. So, that’s what I did 🙂
As every bride says, the day flew by. It was over and done with before we knew it, but it was perfect. Jaden and I loved our August 3rd day and today we reminisce on the beauty of the day by looking through the hundreds of photos that were so wonderfully done by Gin Quist Photography. Virginia captured the moments in the most perfect of ways and each time we look through our photos, we re-live our wedding day all over. I’m sending a big shout-out to Virginia for all the work she did and for the photographs she took. Jaden and I love them, we love you, and we are so thankful all you did!
Jaden and I were so extremely blessed to have the help we did in planning our wedding day. There are a few more special shout-outs that I’d like to give!
