three gorgeous wedding-day jewellery looks

today’s guest post comes from edmonton Stella & Dot stylist, Chelsea Martin.

The key to getting the perfect wedding-day style is to match your accessories to the style of your dress, the theme of your wedding and the personal comfort of the wearer. Here are three examples of perfectly styled wedding looks.

Boho Chic

One of my favourite looks is Boho Chic. To keep the feel of the carefree and light look I used a layered pendant featuring clear stones, earrings inspired by pressed plants, a beautiful hieroglyphic layered cuff and a wonderfully textured pearl and spike bangle. These items are very on trend, but can be transferred to daily use very simply. The necklace is layered already, but can be re-latched to allow more or less layers to suit your personal style and the look you’d like to achieve for your wedding.

Casual Classy

An absolutely timeless look is this Casual Classy style, perfect for anything from an elopement, a reception dress or even a beach wedding. I love the idea of mixing all these textures, but also wanted to keep the look simple and elegant. The studs are very versatile because they can be worn both ways, sparkly or flat. Keeping the earrings small allows for the amazing detail in the bib necklace to be showcased and not lost to the rest of the dress detail. To keep the whole look cohesive I kept the texture and colors going with the inspiration bangle (which is a perfect gift for your whole wedding party) and a beautiful, gold cuff. I bet you can see yourself adding each of these items to your everyday styling… even the necklace has a removable leaf fringe, making it perfect for any occasion.

Simple Sophistication

Last, but certainly not least, I have included two colour options for this last style called the Simple Sophistication. What bride wouldn’t want to recreate this flawless look? The silver option adds some weight to the look with the cuff that pulls the detail from the belt feature of the dress. The silver bib necklace can be worn many different ways to add as much bling as you feel comfortable with and the earrings are the perfect final touch to this option. With the airiness and silhouette of this dress you can go a different route with dainty and unfussy accessories. The earring jackets are such a wonderful option for versatility and will keep your neckline beautifully open to let the single strand sparkly necklace shine. This is followed by a small stack of bracelets that pull the whole look together. The best part about this option is that your wedding party can easily coordinate with your look because the necklace and the bracelet both come in coordinating colors.

I hope that this gave you some inspiration for your wedding look!
